Our Mission
Contemporary Policy Institute supports Wound Walk OC. This program tends to the wounds of our unsheltered in Orange County, California. Our mission is direct relief for those who need it most. We have a wound wagon, filled by items donated by people like you. Each person who calls outside home deserves basic human care. What we do is deliver relief so they might catch their breath for a moment, feel a connection and recognize themselves in a mirror someday. Donate items to this program by clicking here.
In spring 2024, a fund grant coordinated by State Senators Josh Newman and Janet Nguyen led to the purchase of two brand new vehicles, one of which faciliated an expansion of services to the Inland Empire.
